As part of the anniversary redesign of the Iconic Citicorp building in NYC­, I was asked to design an object from 1977 (the year the building was built) that incorporates the famed 45 degree angle for which the building is most famous. I designed a lighter and a calculator as functional items that imitate the look of the building.
